Eastern Mennonite University, Main Stage Theater, 1200 Park Road, Harrisonburg, VA
Ready for the Rain is a musical journey through overwhelming shock, grief and recovery, weaving songs and stories to examine trauma, healing and legacies of colonialism in our social fabric.
The performance is free and open to SPI and STAR consultation participants, as well as to the public.
Frances Crowhill Miller and Daryl Snider are graduates of the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding at EMU. Frances is an improvisational artist and teacher; she sings and plays violin and hang drum. Daryl sings and plays guitar, soprano sax and mbira. Both are songwriters and currently perform as Sopa Sol, from Lancaster, PA.
